I am a practising artist working in both the mediums of Black and White Photography and Botanical Illustration.
As a photographer I  work in the  medium of the anlaogue fine art print.  All works created are unique artists made prints. Main strands of interest are landscape ( N/E.Coast), Political and Social documentary and study of the nude and portraiture.
As a botanical  artist I create both fine pencil drawings and watercolours . My work reflects my training as a Botanist and Landscape Designer and love of the natural world.
As a trained tutor and youth worker I have been running classes in my studio since 1998 .
Photography Classes teach Analogue Camera theory and technique and essential darkroom practice . Other one day classes are specific eg  A Pinhole and Photogram Day.
Botanical Illustration is taught as a combination of artistic and scientific/historical experience.
Childrens classes teach primary fine art 2D skills and theory.
Recent Commissioned work has been featured in the ITV 60 Minute Makeover Nov 2013 , further work was made for clients  in New Zealand and  the  UK. Examples can be seen during Open Studios and studio visits.
I also provide workshops for external groups e.g Botanical Workshops for The Cafe Crema and London W ildlife Trust. All work can be made to commission all senquires welcome for bespoke work and workshops.
